0.3 - Exploration and Dialogues realeased!
Hi, version 0.3 is now finally done!
It took a week longer than i expected, but the work was still very motivating.
Highlights:
Exploration / Dialogues / Event Chains
These are the first steps for the campaign! There isn't a lot to explore yet and it will be replaced once i got some proper story done. Most of the effort went into the frameworks itself, especially the "EventChainSystem" to make it flexible an reusable.
The EventChainSystem will be triggered when starting any interaction. It will direct the flow of events like starting dialogues, change the map, start a battle and so on. It will also check conditions and manage some branching.
The EventChainSystem also got implemented into battles, this will allow battles to be more interactive like spawning reinforcements after x rounds or change the win conditions. The tests where successful but there a no battles that have EventChains yet.
You will be able to fight some Battles an Keep upgrades/XP between battles when playing the story mode.
Save / Load Game
You can now save and load your games between battles in story mode. Currently you have only 4 save slots, but this is enough for the current scope of the game.
New Graphics
I added and improved many graphics. This allows me to create more interesting map.
